Founded in February 2024, it's one of the greatest bases on V. Consists of several builds and farms, though very loosely organised as anyone can build wherever they want. Is connected by the Great Spawn Road, starts at Boxton and ends at Golnix.
Cookie first built the Castle where the signboard and storage rooms were, the central point of Golnix. Then Stonaxxx built his tall house, then Niseau came and built his “Kooky Residence.” The base exploded in activity after the entire community was invited to it, resulting in many builds and loads of players being online. There was a player named _import_ who built a district called Ponkala where he had his house, his horse breeding stable & Rummin had his castle there. There was a cult started by _import_ around horses, where horses would be bred with each other to make the best horse and the slower horses would be sacrificed to Barry the Chicken, Mayor of Golnix. There was also a sort of movement to bring as many newfags as possible to the base to increase growth.
There has been drama with wannabe griefers, they will not be named but the members fought against him and bedtrapped him. He tried to free himself on an alt, with hacks, resulting in a swift ban by the admins. After this incident the peak of the base's activity has passed, with many players discouraged by the attempt and the larp. Though it was still active with many players building there time to time. Over 100+ names on the signboard, and certainly close to hundreds has visited Golnix atleast once, and there is many builds around the base. Even the established griefers have respected the base, thanks to Niseau and CO0KlE_M0NSTER negotiations and the base is an area of peace, where even the most bitter of foes can meet together and have a good time. Niseau made a book titled “Golnix Kinght: Vol 1” and it detailed a prophecy of how the base would be griefed and Niseau distrubuted it all over spawn.
Notable builds include the Bee Dome, the Airship, Cookie's Castle, the Rainbow Pyramid and the central Beacon rings. There is several farms such as an iron farm, shulker farm, wood and more.
On the 4th of July 2024, the base was griefed by a group of griefers who blew it up and proceeded to pearl trap members of the base, thus ending the story of Golnix, one of the most well-known bases in V's history.
